Getting Started
Is it too late in the year to apply?
No. Chapters of Distinction validates the work you’re already doing. If you’re missing something, you have until the May deadline to meet the standards.
Does our chapter need to be active to apply?
Yes. Your chapter must have an active charter, renew affiliation by June 30 for the upcoming year, and remain in good standing throughout the year by adhering to the National Constitution and Handbook.
Is this a competition?
No. Any chapter that meets the standards and completes validation earns the recognition.
What do we receive if we earn recognition?
- Official digital “Chapter of Distinction” seal
- Printable certificate
- Press release and social media toolkit
- Recognition is shared with advisers in September.
